Essential Strategies for the Autistic Student

Professional Development
 


Professional Development very simply is the process of learning and growing in a learning environment. Professional Development takes place in all disciplines and often qualifies individuals or groups for the opportunity to earn different types of credits for the learning that occurs.

For example, educators can earn Clock Hours or Quarter credits or Semester credits toward advancement of their teaching certificates. All of the programs that Link offers allows teachers to earn different types of credits or clock hours through a distance learning or in seat model.

On Line Professional Development for Autism Disorders

Professional Development for autism disorders consists of programs that enable educators, parents, and paraeducators to learn best practice in working with autistic individuals.

Link Autism Leadership will come to your school and work with your employees to evaluate the curriculum in place, identify student strengths, and then determine most favorable outcomes for strengthening the integration of the curriculum in use. In addition to this process, Link Autism Leadership will follow up through progress monitoring and through identifying given barriers to success for children with special needs, and especially the autistic child.

Link Autism Leadership will come to your organization and comprehensively train employers to must successfully understand the autistic employee. The acronym M.A.P.S. stands for

Motivating Autistic Employees through Procedural Thinking and Stable Environments.
1 Day Training

The 1 Day Training is a six hour training that focuses on building capacity within the organizational setting.
